00:28:55 Rohini Mandge: Are there fees for spontaneous fair? 00:30:39 Rohini Mandge: Thanks 00:30:51 Randy Burton: Spontaneous Fair: $50/team 00:41:30 Lisa Bendz: Yes - know what clarifications are 00:54:07 Ashley-Ruth Bernier (she/her): Natalie, we used to rotate our roles for spontaneous "leaders" for hands-on and the combination problems (verbal required them to do their own thinking, so the roles weren't as necessary). We had a "captain" , a reader, and a timekeeper. The captain's job was to make sure everyone's ideas got heard and then figure out a way forward. The reader's job was to read over the spontaneous problem to make sure the team was following the rules. The timekeeper's job was, of course, to keep time. Like I said, we rotated roles each time so everyone had a chance to do these things. This worked really well for some teams I've coached and not so well for others, so it really depends on your individual kids! 00:55:40 Natalie Turner: Reacted to Natalie, we used to ... with "👍" 01:05:41 Ashley-Ruth Bernier (she/her): I'm not sure why I can't unmute 01:05:52 Ashley-Ruth Bernier (she/her): Sorry, I will keep trying and will ask again later. 01:14:44 Natalie Turner: What time would the judge volunteer typically have to report to the site? 01:28:28 Lisa Bendz: Thanks this was helpful! 01:34:31 Elizabeth: Thank you! 01:34:31 iPhone (8): Thank you! 01:34:48 Natalie Turner: Thank you! 01:35:26 Jessica Gebhart: Thank you both so much!!! 01:35:43 Rohini Mandge: Thank you so much.
