Odyssey of the Mind Coaches Training will be presented virtually via Zoom. Coaches will find the session information invaluable as the Odyssey of the Mind season gets into full gear!

Class offerings may change. The schedule (linked to the button above) will be updated with any changes.

All classes will be offered virtually via Zoom. Zoom links will be emailed prior to the training to the registered attendees. 

Registration is now open! Although there is no registration fee, we are accepting optional donations of $1 to $15. Thanks a lot for your support!

Judges Training Information

NC Odyssey of the Mind – Eastern Region judges – Remember that the mandatory judges training is scheduled for Saturday, February 21 from 8AM to 2PM. The training will be held via Zoom. You will be notified soon of your specific judging assignment and which Zoom meeting you need to join.

2026 NCOM Eastern Region Spontaneous Fair

Registration for the 2026 Spontaneous Fair has closed. Please contact Tom Bojanski with any questions.
The Spontaneous Fair has been postponed to Saturday, February 7 due to the ice storm.

  • Learn about Spontaneous techniques
  • Receive feedback; interact with other teams
  • 4 practice sessions (all types of problems)
  • Fee is $60/team (includes all team members and coaches)

We encourage all team members to attend the Spontaneous Fair as all team members will be able to participate in Spontaneous competitions this year!

Primary teams may not understand or have the skills necessary to be successful in solving these problems. Instead of attending this event, a less intense method of exposing Primary teams to spontaneous problem solving is encouraged.
