Odyssey of the Mind has existed since 1978, giving it a strong alumni base. The Odyssey Alumni Association is a pending non-profit, non-stock organization affiliated with the Odyssey of the Mind program and Creative Opportunities Unlimited. Odyssey Alumni exist in order to keep alumni of the Odyssey program informed, connected, and involved with Odyssey and its affiliated local, national, and international associations. Alumni have a unique knowledge of the program that make them perfect candidates for coaches, judges, and other types of volunteers. Often these rolls are filled by family members or teachers of participants, but there is always a need for more.
